# fromHex

Decodes a hex value to a string, number or byte array.

## Returns

`string | bigint | number | ByteArray`

The targeted type.

## Parameters

### hex

* **Type:** `Hex`

The hex value to decode.

### toOrOptions

* **Type:** `"string" | "hex" | "number" | "bigint" | "boolean" | Options`

The output type or options.
