# setMinGasPrice

Change the minimum gas price accepted by the network (in wei).

> Note: `setMinGasPrice` can only be used on clients that do not have EIP-1559 enabled.

## Parameters

### gasPrice

* **Type:** `bigint`

The gas price (in wei).
